ChapterBlasts: A Great Way to Advertise Your Chapter Events
December 17, 2021 – There are many ways to advertise for a chapter event but one easy way is with a ChapterBlast. A ChapterBlast is a promotional email sent by EAA on behalf of your chapter, to invite regional EAA members to your chapter event. The email will be sent to all EAA members within roughly 75 miles of the chapter event. This is a perfect way to invite EAA members who may not even realize your chapter exists out for a visit.
ChapterBlasts are only available to active EAA chapters for chapter events. All requests must be submitted by a chapter officer such as the chapter president. Each chapter can submit up to three ChapterBlast requests each year, so make sure you use this resource wisely. Requesting a ChapterBlast is as easy as filling out the request form on EAA’s website. We do prefer that you submit your request at least 30 days prior to the event. Once the request form is received, a mockup up of the email will be created and sent out to the individual that is listed as the contact for the event. At this time you will want to look over the email closely and make sure all information is correct. If you have any changes we can make those as well. Once the email reads correctly and how you want, you will approve the mockup and your email will be scheduled to be sent. The email is sent around 10 days before the scheduled event. As a bonus, by requesting a ChapterBlast your chapter also receives a point toward Chapter Recognition as requesting a ChapterBlast is one of the 10 criteria.
