It’s Freezing Time

John Egan, EAA 336835, EAA Sr. Chapters Manager

EAA

January 18, 2022 – EAA chapters have the opportunity to use the Camp Scholler Chapters Pavilion for their very own chapter pancake breakfast fundraiser during AirVenture. The pavilion is located in the Camp Scholler campground, directly south of the Fly Market on the west side of Paul’s Woods. Chapters have the opportunity to host a pancake-style breakfast where our EAA chapters department will provide all the supplies and makings to host a fundraising event. Managing the seemingly ever-increasing volume of customer needs in 2021 placed unforeseen challenges in stocking enough food supplies for daily use. Due to a generous donation by EAA member Bob Highley, EAA 48853, of Chapter 454, the Chapters Pavilion is now the proud owner of a new 21-cubic-foot upright freezer. What better time to buy a freezer than on the coldest day in December here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin? Seen here assisting to place the new freezer in the Chapters Pavilion is EAA Chapter Field Representative Chris Gauger. Chris is our EAA staff Ray Aviation Scholarship program manager. Some of you will see Chris this winter at our popular EAA Chapter Leadership Boot Camps around the U.S. when we travel to help make it easier for our chapter leaders to support their chapters.

If you are interested in making a donation to the chapter pavilion, please email us at chapters@eaa.org. Information regarding participation in the pancake breakfast fundraisers during AirVenture can be found here come March.
