Airspace made easy for the Drone Pilot

Sat, Jul 27, 2019 - Sat, Jul 27, 2019
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Location: Aviation Gateway Park

Presenter: Scott Strimple

Understanding the complex National Airspace System can be daunting enough for the manned aviator and down right overwhelming to the non aviator drone pilot. It is the single most important concept to assuring deconfliction between manned and unmanned aircraft. It is also the single most mis-understood concept among licensed unmanned aviators. This class will explore airspace as it applies to the drone pilot so that the attendee receives an easy to understand yet comprehensive real life understanding of how to properly identify where they can fly with and without the proper permissions.
