Once we launch the rocket, now what’re we gonna do? We know we’re going back to the Moon, and on to Mars, but is it that simple? If you thought launching the rocket was tricky, let’s talk about what it’s going to take to build the Lunar Gateway, a habitat for astronauts and landers for getting them to the Moon and Mars!

Moderator: Joe Cassady – Executive Director of Space at Aerojet Rocketdyne.
•    Michael Wood (Jacobs) Director of Gateway Projects for Jacobs at JSC (Michael.Wood.ctr@jacobs.com)
•    Dave Pederson (Boeing)  david.pederson@boeing.com (pronounced Peterson)
•    Mark Tobias: Mark is an aerospace veteran that understands solid rocket boosters. Currently, he is the chief engineer at Northrop Grumman overseeing booster development for the Space Launch System. The boosters on SLS will be the largest boosters ever flown.
•    Marshall Smith: erin.c.mahoney@nasa.gov and marshall.smith@nasa.gov
Marshall Smith directs the formulation and execution of NASA’s human lunar exploration activities—the Gateway, which will be the first deep space outpost in cislunar space, and the human lunar lander initiative that will establish a sustainable, 21st century human presence on the Moon
