    Raquel, happy in the air!

July 2021 – I’d like to announce the newest member of the Canadian Council, Raquel Lincoln, EAA 1306824, out of Winnipeg.

Most of our readers will be aware that your Canadian Council is responsible for representing Canadian EAA members’ interests to EAA HQ in Oshkosh, communicating their activities on your behalf, and setting up programs for Canadian members at AirVenture and throughout Canada. We heartily welcome Raquel to this team.

Raquel is passionate about aviation and brings some tremendous enthusiasm among many other attributes to the Council. As a private pilot, Raquel’s knowledge and relationships have been successful in promoting and advocating for Manitoba’s aviation industry as executive director of the Manitoba Aviation Council. With previous experience as an entrepreneur for 24 years, Raquel grew a seasonal fishing lodge to a year-round, five-star luxury resort, offering diverse amenities and services, appealing to both leisure and corporate travellers.

Raquel serves as a board director for Sunova Credit Union and gives back as a volunteer in the aviation community as chairperson of the Air Cadet League of Manitoba and secretary/treasurer of EAA Chapter 63 Manitoba. She is a member of women pilots in the Manitoba Ninety-Nines and Women in Aviation, Northern Spirit Chapter. Raquel is a very busy person and all EAA members are fortunate to have her join the Canadian Council.

Please join us in welcoming Raquel to our EAA Canadian Council.
