Ren Scott

“My interest in aviation began at an early age when I would listen to my grandfather talk about flying P-51 Mustangs in the Pacific theater during WWII, and later the F-86 Sabre Jet for the Maryland Air National Guard. I began taking flying lessons when I was 15 years old, and also soloed that same year. After I soloed I got caught up in high school and sports, but eventually earned my private pilot’s certificate while in college. I attended Averett University in Virginia where I majored in aviation management. I have spent the past 15 years in business development, sales, and customer relations for Department of Defense contractors. I finally wound my way back to the aviation community here at EAA, and I am thrilled for the opportunity. I look forward to bringing my experience in customer relations to the table and working closely with the Canadian Council team, as well as the Canadian EAA members in the future.”
