A Chapter Near You?

December 2019 - Many of you are members of your local EAA chapter, but many are not, for various reasons. Maybe there isn't a chapter close to you, or there is one and you were unaware of its proximity. We thought you might like to see the complete list, with contact information included. Many chapters will be having their elections for officers around this time of year, so it's a good time to get involved, even if it's just to cast your vote.

Apart from the obvious social aspects of belonging to a local chapter (it's Christmas party time), there are many other reasons to join, from education on aviation topics, to advice on construction or repairs, to access to specialized tools and technical counselors. Not only can you get a lot out of membership, but you can also give, whether it be flying Young Eagles or just helping out at barbecues or other events.

Now would be a great time to form a new chapter or restart one. There are hundreds of members without local chapters in places such as Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Burlington, Pickering, and Kingston.
