Getting Ready for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021

By Jeff Seaborn, Chair, EAA Canadian Council

February 2021 – EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021 planning is well underway. This is an enormous challenge, as there are countless unknowns that exist because of COVID, lockdowns, and changing social-distancing and safety requirements.

Staff, volunteers, and guests are all enthusiastically looking forward to an outstanding event, but there is a lot of work to get there. EAA is working with local and state health officials and multiple agencies to predict the requirements and prepare for the event. This is a constantly moving target, but there are continual reviews, discussions, and planning.

Great memories of 2019.

Hopefully, all Canadians who want it will have had access to the vaccine by then and our borders will be open.

With so many unknowns, it's tough to predict what AirVenture will look like, but most of the past exhibitors have already booked their spots, performers are booking, and everyone is optimistic the show will be a success. Your Canadian Council will be hard at work in the weeks leading up to AirVenture to ensure your experience at the Canadian Tent will be at least as much fun as in recent years.

Whatever happens, EAA's goal is to make AirVenture 2021 as impressive and as memorable as AirVentures in the past.
