May 3, 2022 – Our friend Rex Parker, EAA Lifetime 722625, took these shots while he was at SUN 'n FUN. Your editor was unable to attend this year for the first time in several years. Rex announced that he was not able to locate anybody associated with this interesting Canadian aircraft. It looked like it was flown down from Tillsonburg, Ontario, and the spec sheet displayed in the window is shown below.
Apparently the aircraft was initially purchased by the Royal Canadian Air Force as a navigation and radio trainer.
The other aircraft was a Dornier Do 28 A-1 R. Rex just thought it was really interesting and so do we.
When he wasn't looking for Canadian aircraft for us, Rex spent a lot time in the experimental aircraft area “Paradise City,” as well as trying to keep cool in the unseasonably high temperatures.
