As I write this, AirVenture is under way, and it seems to be very well attended. There were plenty of interested Canadians and a strong showing at the Canadian tent.

If you’ve been looking for articles from previous editions of Bits and Pieces, here’s a handy link to the content: https://www.eaa.org/eaa/news-and-publications/eaa-news-and-aviation-news/bits-and-pieces-newsletter

If you are considering writing an article for publication in Bits and Pieces, please read the guidelines in the May issue.  There is some important information.  If you don’t know whether it would be of interest to a larger audience, here’s a clue. The most frequently read articles are the shorter ones about something like how you fixed something or added a knick-knack to improve your flying experience.

As always, please don't hesitate to contact me, Ian Brown, at newsletter.EAACC@gmail.com and thank you to those who did. I'd also like to express a great thanks to those who contributed to the newsletter this month and especially to Raquel, our chairperson, who not only leads your Canadian Council and contributes her thoughts every month, but she is also constantly busy at AirVenture, with every aspect, including cooking burgers and brats on Sunday night at our "Welcome Canadians" party.

It was a pleasure meeting many of you at our Canadian events this year at AirVenture. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip just as much.
