October 29, 2014 – The 11th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo is less than three months away, January 14-17, 2015, at the Sebring Regional Airport in Florida. Those planning to attend can purchase discounted admission in advance online through December 1, with additional discounts for EAA members.

Sponsor and partner hotels are offering special guest rates to Expo attendees so visit the event website to learn more. Vehicle rental discounts are also available through Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Featured speakers scheduled to appear in the Aviators Hot Line Show Center Tent each day at 1:30 p.m. include (Wednesday) AOPA President Mark Baker, (Thursday) a panel of aviation leaders discussing affordable aircraft options, (Friday) former astronaut Story Musgrave recounting his career that includes six spaceflights, and (Saturday) retired U.S. Air Force Col. Richard Graham recalling his years as a SR-71 pilot and as the first Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron Commander.

New this year: The Sebring Expo will team with AVweb and Triple R Affordable Aircraft to feature refurbished production aircraft as another affordable aircraft option. Aviators Hot Line will also host the first aircraft sales lot at the Expo, allowing private owners an opportunity to display any homebuilt, light-sport, or type-certificated aircraft or ultralight for sale.

The Expo will again set aside specific areas for homebuilt parking and camping. Homebuilders flying to the event should advise air traffic control if they wish to park in either of those locations.

More than 150 exhibitors are expected to participate, including 15 new exhibitors like Oregon Aero, Strong Enterprises, MVP Aero, Velocity Aircraft, the Kolb Aircraft Company, Bearhawk Aircraft, and the Airplane Factory. For a complete list of exhibitors visit the Sebring website.

“We’re delighted to welcome these companies to their first Expo and, of course, we’re excited to renew our connection with our returning exhibitors as well,” said Expo Director Jana Filip.
