Young Eagles Pilots Win Lightspeed Headsets

Holiday auctionJanuary 28, 2015 - Richard Feeman, EAA 1029215, of Weaverville, North Carolina, and Chuck Surack, EAA 1047375, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, are the fourth quarter drawing winners of Lightspeed Zulu headsets provided for eligible Young Eagles pilots by Lightspeed Aviation. Both Feeman and Surack were automatically entered by returning Young Eagles flight registration forms for flights completed in 2014.

Feeman, who has flown 50 Young Eagles since 2012, was entered in the drawing by flying at least one Young Eagle during the quarter and submitting the Young Eagles registration form. Surack has a total of 202 Young Eagles flights since 2012 and was selected in our special second Lightspeed drawing for pilots who reached at least 10 flights for 2014.

To become eligible to win a headset in 2015, simply fly at least one Young Eagle and submit the Young Eagles registration form (must be postmarked by the end of the quarter in which the flight occurs). Young Eagles pilots are encouraged to send in their registration forms as soon after the flight as possible. An additional drawing will be held for pilots who reach at least 10 flights in 2015.

“Lightspeed Aviation continues to be a valuable partner of the Young Eagles program and understands our mission of growing participation in aviation,” said Brian O’Lena, manager of EAA Young Eagles and Eagle Flights. “We’re extremely grateful for their continued support in 2015 by providing these quality headsets to the Young Eagles program.”
