Local Kiwanis Make Winter Flight Fest Possible for Families

March 5, 2020 - The Kiwanis Club from Wild Rose, Wisconsin, about 50 miles west of Oshkosh, made a day of family fun at EAA possible for families in their community who otherwise would not be able to participate. The service club provided a grant for local families to attend the February 22 Winter Flight Fest event, which featured many hands-on activities and nearly 30 aircraft.

That Kiwanis effort was highlighted in a local paper in that community, as the club and EAA opened possibilities for young people to discover and enjoy aviation.
