EAA Aviation Museum Temporarily Closed, Several Events Cancelled Due to COVID-19
AIRVENTURE 2020 HAS BEEN CANCELED. Read more here →
Currently most of the EAA staff, including member services, are working remotely or from home. Our goal is to maintain services for members, EAA chapters, and others at the highest levels possible. That includes publication of EAA Sport Aviation and other EAA magazines, updates to the EAA websites, and other member benefits. We do appreciate your continuing understanding and patience as we work through in what in many ways is an unprecedented situation.
We encourage all members to follow COVID-19 guidance from their local health officials and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Updated cancellation list — EAA events
Along with the closure of the EAA Aviation Museum, there are a number of scheduled EAA events in Oshkosh and elsewhere that have been affected by COVID-19 outbreaks and associated governmental action. Among the EAA cancellations thus far are:
All Ford Tri-Motor, B-17, and B-25 flight experiences prior to AirVenture
SportAir Workshops prior to AirVenture
The EAA Aviation Museum is closed until further notice.
All airplane rides from Pioneer Airport are suspended for the 2020 season due to COVID-19. Operations will resume in 2021.
