June #AvChallenge – Pass On The Spirit of Aviation to Youth

June 2, 2016 - Each month EAA will challenge you and your friends to discover aviation by going on a specific adventure. During it, capture what inspires you, piques your interests, and encourages you to explore aviation further. Then share a photo and story about your experience with the hashtag #AvChallenge. 

We’ll add your photos to an online album and share them across our digital and social channels. Then you and aviation enthusiasts and pilots around the world will be able to see all the amazing stories happening in aviation today. 

Your story could even turn into something bigger that’ll inspire others to join in. So watch our website and social channels for a new challenge at the start of each month and share away!

During the month of June, we challenge you to expose young people to the magic of flight. Try taking someone up for their first Young Eagles flight or letting a kid tag along with you to the airport. International Young Eagles is June 11 and we are quickly approaching our 2 millionth Young Eagle flown, so there’s no better time to pass on The Spirit of Aviation to the next generation of fliers!

Share a photo along with a story of your experience on social media using the hashtag #AvChallenge. All of the photos will be added to an online gallery and three participants will be randomly chosen to receive a free AirVenture 2016 mug!
