Jim House, Ultralight and LSA Council Member, Dies

Jim House, Ultralight and LSA Council Member, DiesSeptember 10, 2015 – James O. House III, retired U.S. Navy commander, died September 2 at age 66. House, a member of EAA Chapter 152 in Alabama, served on EAA’s Ultralight and Light-Sport Aircraft Council since 2001. He soloed in 1967 and was a commercial pilot with single- and multiengine, instrument, and glider ratings. After serving in the Vietnam War, he served as a firefighter and paramedic, and volunteered with EAA’s Young Eagles and Technical Counselor programs.
