A Legend is Re-Born

December 7, 2017 - Here is your chance to win a newly restored 1941 Piper J-3C-65 Cub in the 2018 EAA Sweepstakes.

This Piper Cub was family-owned for more than 50 years and was most notably used to train World War II pilots. Today, it is being restored to  original condition. With a zero-time Continental A65-8 engine, new Grove disc brakes, a new Sensenich wooden propeller, Poly-Fiber covering system, and the traditional Lock Haven yellow with black trim paint scheme, this Piper Cub will look just like it did when it rolled out of the factory.

New this year we have moved entries to the 2018 sweepstakes entirely online. You can enter to win the Piper Cub by visiting the EAA Sweepstakes page on our website, or using a computer at the EAA booth at SUN ’n FUN International Fly-In & Expo or at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017. When you make a donation with your sweepstakes entry you’re supporting EAA programs that educate, engage, empower, and inspire the aviators of tomorrow.

No purchase or donation is necessary. A purchase or donation will not improve your chances of winning. The sweepstakes and all entries are governed by the 2018 Sweepstakes Official Rules
