EAA Taking Part in AMA Expo

December 22, 2015 - EAA members can receive discounted admission at the Academy of Model Aeronautics Expo, January 8-10 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California. More than 100 model aircraft exhibitors are scheduled to attend the event, in addition to guest speakers from NASA, Google, Flite Test, Wounded Warriors, AMA members, and the FAA.

EAA CEO Jack Pelton, along with Vice President of Communities and Member Programs Rick Larsen and Vice President of Advocacy and Safety Sean Elliot, will also be in attendance to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with AMA. The signing is scheduled for Saturday, January 9 at 11:30 a.m. at the main stage.

The expo will include new product launches, flying demos, a scale model show and contest, and make ‘n take airplanes and rockets for the family, as well as displays from NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center and Soaring Society of America.
