2021 Young Eagles Credits Now Available
March 2022 – Every year, the EAA Young Eagles credit program awards a $5 credit to pilots and chapters for each Young Eagle flown in a calendar year. The 2021 Young Eagles chapter credits have been issued based on 2021 flight activity. Each flight traditionally earns $5, but all flights done throughout the months of June, July, and August 2021 were credited at a value of $10 each. Pilots who are not associated with a chapter can expect their credit notifications within the next few weeks.
View your current Young Eagles credit balance. Chapter credit balances will be updated every two to four weeks.
New for 2022, EAA is accepting digital reimbursement forms in an effort to improve ease of completion and efficiency. As a portion of digital reimbursements, we will be encouraging all chapters to submit ACH wire transfer forms to EAA, so that reimbursements can be directly deposited in the chapter’s bank account. (Chapters which already have an ACH form on file with EAA do not need to submit an additional form.) Moving towards digital submissions and electronic wire transfers will allow EAA to supply chapters with their funds in a timelier manner, while also providing better tracking capabilities.

- Sponsor a Youth for EAA Air Academy – Many chapters use Young Eagles credits to offset the cost of sending youths to EAA Air Academy. Do not delay, as slots for the 2023 camp are already filling up!
- Enhance Your Chapter’s Young Eagles Program – Credits can be put toward a wide variety of materials, supplies, and activities that will enhance your Young Eagles program. This includes the purchase of a Young Eagles Workshop kit, participation in the Young Eagles Build and Fly program, safety materials, marketing materials, and more.
- Purchase a Chapter iPad for EAA’s Digital Signature App – Chapters using Young Eagles online registration (YoungEaglesDay.org) can now use EAA’s Digital Signature app, compatible on iPads with iOS 13 or greater, to collect parent and pilot signatures. This will eliminate the need for paper waivers!
