For decades, the homebuilt movement has allowed pilots affordable access to the latest in aircraft technology. One area where it hasn’t always been so prominent is in the field of cockpit electronics.

Built for less than $6500

Tim Buttles, EAA 183981, of Ogdensburg, WI built a two-place airplane for less than $6,500. See the plane yourself at AirVenture 2008, where it will be displayed in the Affordable Flying Center. It is also featured in August's SportAviation.
