Ms. Ashlie Flegel is the Advanced Aircraft Engine Icing Technical Lead in the Icing Branch at NASA Glenn. She has thirteen years of experience in the Turbomachinery field where she has held the roles of Mechanical Test Engineer and Aerospace Research Engineer. In her current role, she is focused on understanding the ice crystal icing phenomenon in turbofan engines that is simulated in the NASA Propulsion Systems Laboratory.
