Barbara Ganson PhD is Professor of History at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, a trustee at the International Women's Air and Space Museum, a licensed private pilot, and owner of a 1965 Cessna 172F. As part of Women of Aviation Worldwide Week, she flew across the English Channel with a group of aviators on the one hundredth anniversary of Harriet Quimby's historic flight in 1912.
