Clint Nichols
Clint Nichols joined Scaled straight out of college in 2000 as an engineer. Working propulsion and systems on various projects, Clint was able to gain experience as a flight test engineer on many aircraft including Adam M-309, GlobalFlyer, and SpaceShipOne. Clint obtained his PPL after joining Scaled, and had the opportunity to perform as copilot in White Knight and WhiteKnightTwo, as well as pilot-in-command on Toyota TAA-1, ARES, and Proteus. Clint is now a full-time Test Pilot at Scaled, and is currently the Project Pilot for Proteus. He has flown 45 types of aircraft with over 2,000 hours as pilot-in-command. Clint is a member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots. Despite all of the aircraft Clint has been able to fly at Scaled, his favorite airplane is the Pitts Special aerobatic biplane.
