Cody helped develop EAA’s Ford Tri-Motor Tour program, and is currently it's Chairman. He has served as a Ford Tri-Motor captain since 1993 and is a 2003 EAA President’s Award recipient.
He is President and founder of the non-profit Wings of Mercy of East Michigan providing free rides in GA aircraft to and from major medical centers, Cody is a past Director of the Air Care Alliance. He has served on numerous aviation boards. He is airport manager of Price Airport in Linden, MI, where he co-developed Horizon Lakes Airpark for people who live with their planes. He is President of his own business aircraft brokerage business. He is a retired Boeing 757 Captain for a major airline and currently flys 2 business jets part time.
