D. Michael Bergen

Mike worked at the US Navy composites R&D laboratory in Washington DC for 31 years. The programs that he led resulted in over 50 tons of composite in the Fleet. His company is currently under contract to the US Army to develop an in-field repair for composite structures that a minimally trained soldier can execute. He has provided multiple presentations at AirVenture and Sun N Fun since 2012. He is an IFR pilot and owns a M-35 Bonanza. He is currently building a Quickie Q-200.
