Mr. Sims is a Physical Scientist with the FAA overseeing the Inflight Icing, and the Model Development and Enhancement weather research projects as part of the FAA’s Aviation Weather Research Program. Prior to his current position, he was responsible for sustainment of the FAA Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) at the Air Traffic Control System Command Center. TFMS is the automation system used by FAA traffic flow managers to balance demand and capacity of the NAS.
