David G. Ullman has been a pilot and EAA member for 30+ years and is former president of Chapter 292. He holds degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He has built a Velocity and a Jabiru-like airplane. He is an expert on product design and holds eight patents. In 2018 he was the keynote speaker at the Sustainable Aviation Symposium in San Francisco with his talk on “Electric Air Vehicle Performance Prospects”. He currently has NASA funding for electric airplane development.
