Dr. Earl Weener Ph.D.

Dr. Earl Weener (pronounced way-ner), a Board Member with the National Transportation Safety Board. Prior to joining the NTSB in 2010, Dr. Weener held many positions within the aviation industry including as an aerospace engineer and as chief engineer of airworthiness, reliability and maintainability for a major aircraft manufacturer. He also served as a Foundation Fellow for the Flight Safety Foundation. Dr. Weener received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate.
