In 1996, I spoke about the Russian aircraft and engine for a Warbirds of America forum at AirVenture. I have also presented several times at the Women in Aviation conference. We host a 3-day seminar teaching the Design, Theory and Maintenance of the M-14P at our facility in Kingman. I am truly passionate about sharing my knowledge and leading a forum at Airventure is a perfect venue for a subject that holds a lot of interest for many aviators, owners and mechanics.
I am an A&P, IA, Pilot and semi-retired wingwalker. I am the Maintenance Information Officer for the Redstar Pilot's Association and write columns for their magazine. I am one of 3 Westerners - and the only woman - to be certified by the engine factory in Voronezh Russia to overhaul the M-14P and -PF engines.
