Joe is an A&P mechanic with IA, and a CFI in both airplanes and helicopters. An EAA member since 1976, Joe has a long history of EAA activity at both the local and national level. He was a founding member of the EAA Homebuilt Aircraft Council, served on EAA staff for 10 years, and was EAA’s first Homebuilders Community Manager. Joe was the 2012 recipient of the Tony Bingelis Award. Joe’s duties at Sonex include overseeing the T-Flight transition training program as well as maintaining the fleet of Sonex prototype aircraft.
