John Egan

John is on staff at EAA right here at EAA HQ in Oshkosh and is the Chapters Department manager. John delivers EAA designed programming to our 900 EAA chapters. John is a long time member of local EAA chapter 252 in Oshkosh and a Warbirds Squadron 32 member. As an EAA staff member, John is also the President of the EAA Employees Flying Club where he and his wife Mollee enjoy flying the EAA RV-12 – 2018 One Week Wonder. John is a Sport Pilot, with a Tail Wheel Endorsement and an avid scratch builder. John has built a Pietenpol Air Camper, and is currently working on his scratch-built PA-18 Super Cub clone. John earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering where he worked in industry prior to being on staff at EAA.
