John Nicol

MakerPlane Inc
John Nicol is the founder of MakerPlane, the Open Source Aviation community and CEO of Corona Aerospace, a company that provides modelling and simulation consulting services to NATO, Defence and Public Safety Departments.  Corona also provides avionics to the Experimental Aviation market.  John is a retired New Zealand Army Officer,  a pilot and has been a member of EAA for several years.  Previous assignments include Principle Engineer at Lockheed Martin, VP Engineering of a Silicon Valley hi-tech company and CEO of a Top 40 Canadian Defence company.
