Kathleen Howell is an operations engineer at NASA Dryden Filght Research Center. Her responsibilities include coordination and facilitation of missions for the Ikhana unmanned aircraft system, a civil version of the Predator B. Her Dryden career began in 1998 as a software test engineer. Before joining NASA, Howell taught mathematics. She has a degree in mathematics from California State University, Northridge. She holds a Commercial Pilot's Certificate and is a member of EAA/IAC.
