Lowell Grissom is the brother of Apollo 1 Commander Virgil I. "Gus" Grissom. He has spoken nationally about his brother and the space program. As Gus' brother, he has experienced the profound pride and anguish of having a loved one risk all in the pursuit of space exploration. Mr. Grissom appeared in the Discovery Channel Documentaries, "WHEN WE LEFT EARTH: The NASA Missions” and "Liberty Bell 7, The Lost Spacecraft,” and Purdue University’s series, “The Boilermakers.”
