LtCol Mike "Alvin" McMillin is NORAD civil aviation education and training program chief at NORAD Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and is a decorated Squadron Commander with over 3100 hours in the F-16 and has 7 combat deployments to the Middle East. While on alert in support of Operation Noble Eagle he intercepted two civil aircraft that violated a defended TFR. Alvin currently flies 737s for United Airlines, and is a CFII.
