Mark Hanson

Mark Hanson is Vice President and Board Member at Air Care Alliance, working nationally to promote and advance charitable aviation. Since retiring in 2010 Mark has been a very active volunteer pilot with over 400 missions flown for several public benefit organizations like Angel Flight, PALS Sky Hope, Turtles Fly Too, Stem Flight, Lifeline Pilots and others. EAA Ren Scott, ACA Mark and ACA Kris have been working on the creation of EAA Public Benefit Flying day. Mark is a lifetime EAA member, IMC Club Leader, an FAAST Team Safety Representative, a member of the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians and holds Commercial Instrument ASEL, AMEL, ASES, flies/owns an Eclipse 550. 2023 International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians President’s Citation for Service 2022 Angel Flight West Endeavor Award for Volunteer Pilot 2021 National Aeronautic Association Distinguished Volunteer Pilot 2017 NBA / Boston Celtics Hero Among Us Recognition
