Mark Solper

Mark began his flying career as a young flight instructor in Green Bay, Wisconsin after being a hangar rat since he was 12 years of age. When the company he was flying for closed the doors, he found an investor who became a wonderful friend and purchased the flight school from Carter Aviation in Pulaski, Wisconsin. Mark spent the next several years flying and operating Mejima Aviation. It was during this time Mark discovered ultralights and learned to fly an American Eagle and the Qucksilver MX.

Throughout his Aviation career, Mark has been involved in flight safety, accident prevention, pilot training and flying as a Captain for a major us airline. Mark has held multiple positions in the safety and the training field that included working for the FAA, Manager of Training Standards for a major airline, Chairman of the Airlines Pilot Associations Accident Investigation Board as well as chairman of multiple safety programs.

Mark is a proud member of the Wisconsin Powered Parachute Association and EAA Chapter 1622. Mark flys a Powrachute Sky Rascal, a Santos Dumont inspired Skonkwerks 24M and an Aerolite 103 over the beautiful fields of Wisconsin. Mark joined the EAA Board of Directors in fall of 2018.
