Martin is the creator of the well-known "Lean of Peak (LOP) Engine Operations Explained" training video. He flies a Bonanza with a normally-aspirated IO-550 engine. Martin learned to fly gliders at the age of 14, and later airplanes. He is an active flight instructor, and he shares many of his flying adventures as well as flying lessons in his Bonanza (N70TB) with a broad audience on his Aviation YouTube Channel.
