Lt Col Walrod, is an Active Duty Air Force pilot with over 4000 hours in a combination of fighters, unmanned armed reconnaissance, and commercial aircraft. He currently serves as a member of NORAD's Current Ops division at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs. One of his duties is to assist in facilitation of the Civil Aviation Education and Training program, which reaches out to GA pilots through venues like this one to raise awareness of TFR's and reduce the number of fighter intercepts.
