Ramona Cox
For 16 years, Ramona Cox has flown her Cessna TU-206 into highly remote and challenging wilderness airstrips SOLO air-camping for months at a time. She fishes daily and hunts with a recurve bow while dodging wolves, bear and mountain lion. Ramona tests and reviews gear in extreme conditions for adventure product companies. As a journalist, author and film maker, she produced a DVD and book, both titled “Flying Off the Grid” and was honored as AOPA’s Pilot of the Month. www.skychick.com
