Samuel Henney graduated from the University of Colorado in 2012 and has been at Scaled Composites ever since, working in both design and flight test engineering on several different programs. He is currently the Project Engineer for the Proteus aircraft. Sam earned his pilot’s license in high school and now holds a commercial certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings. He became interested in aerospace engineering at a young age through building and flying a Vans RV-6A with his dad, and watching Scaled win the Ansari X-Prize with SpaceShipOne. In his free time, Sam is currently building a Lancair 360 in his garage which has been named the “Samcair.” http://scaled.com/
