Scott Thompson is an aviation historian who has specialized in documenting the post-World War II use of the B-17. He has written ten books and numerous articles on World War II American aviation history, but has recently focused his attention on two famous aviators, Paul Mantz and Frank Tallman, and their company, Tallmantz Aviation.
