Stuart 'Boot' Gordon was a Captain in the Air Force Reserve and graduated Fighter Pilot in May 23rd, 1944. Flew P-39s, P-63s, and P-38s and went overseas. In New Guinea flew P-47s, and then joined the 70th Fighter Squadron; flew in seven battle theaters and then at the end of the War joined the 67th Fighter Squadron. Flew L-16s/liaison planes in the Wisconsin National Guard. Then joined the Squadron in Korea. Flew the P-39, P-38, P-47, P-63, P-51 P-63, F-80s.
Flew all except the P-40s.
