Tim Owen

Tim Owen’s career in aviation began with his service as a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force. Following his tenure, he enrolled in Alabama Aviation and Technical College, successfully obtaining his Airframe & Powerplant License and Associated Degrees in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Avionics Technology, as well as earning the Federal Communications License (FCC). Additionally, Tim holds an Inspection Authorization rating. Prior to joining Continental, Tim established his own airframe and engine maintenance shop in Gadsden, Alabama, where he honed his skills and acquired valuable hands-on experience. In 2015, Tim joined Continental, where he is a vital member of the Customer Support team. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience, he supports technical inquiries and is the primary instructor for Continental’s Factory Technical Training for the avgas engine product line.
