John O’Leary is the VP of Engineering at Airbus Americas, Inc., overseeing 500+ employees between 3 sites: Wichita, KS (aerostructure design/analysis), Mobile, AL (cabin interior/system upgrades), and Newport Beach, CA (Airbus Cabin suppliers). He served 11 years in the Marine Corps as a Naval Flight Officer in EA-6B Prowlers, achieving the rank of Major. He has an MS in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA from Wichita State University, and he is an instrument rated private pilot.
