Vic has been building and flying aircraft for over 45 years. He founded Base Leg Aviation, which specializes in inspections and maintenance for amateur-built aircraft. Vic is also a Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) for the Atlanta MIDO. He has amassed almost 11000 flight hours in over 74 different kinds of aircraft. He writes monthly columns for Sport Aviation and Kitplanes and has published three books. He is a Commercial Pilot and CFII, with ASMEL, ASES, and RW privilege.
