Famed for designing a host of unique aircraft that have set a string of world records, Rutan designs have included kit-built airplanes, executive aircraft and research vehicles. Rutan gained worldwide attention in 1986 when Voyager became the first airplane to circle the Earth nonstop without refueling. In 2004 he won the $10 million X-Prize by sending SpaceShipOne to outer space. Rutan's new venture will take him traveling about the world on unique adventures
