John Koelling is the NASA Project Manager for System Wide Safety. Prior to that, he served as a Branch Head for Crew Systems and Aviation Ops. John’s first assignment at NASA was working on Synthetic Vision. Prior to his NASA career, he was the Airbus Fleet Specialist at US Airways and was an Aircraft Commander and Instructor pilot in the USAF where he taught low level tactical reconnaissance and air combat maneuvering.
