Dr. John Melton is a senior engineer in the Aeronautics directorate at the NASA Ames Research Center. With over 30 years of aerospace experience, he has performed independent and collaborative research in support of the biggest and smallest government and commercial aircraft and spacecraft programs. His aerospace interests include applied aerodynamics, CFD analysis, wind tunnel testing, flight simulation, and systems-level assessments of both manned and autonomous vehicles.
