Nils Larson
NASA AFRC
Nils is NASA’s Senior Advisor for Aero Flight Research and one of NASA’s X-59 Project Pilots. He’s a former AFRC Chief Test Pilot and USAF Test Pilot. At NASA he has flown numerous projects including supersonics, flight controls, and airborne science in the F-16, F-18, F-15, T-34, ER-2 and DC-8 aircraft. In the USAF he flew flight test in the RU-38, F-15, T-38 and U-2, and taught at USAF and Navy TPS. He is a Fellow in the Society of Experimental Test Pilot and past president.
